Hello good people this is your boy once again. thank you guys for always taken out time to address many questions here on this forum i appreciate and always grateful.
a Philippine friend entered japan last month with temporary visitor visa my question is will it be possible to change his visa status to working permit?? he will want to work in my small company. i am not sure what kind of document or how to go about this that's why i am asking.

Japan immigration/ministry of justice has been strict with those changing status from temp. visitor/student(language) to 'work', due to many fraud visa/status application.

and also the document required etc. depends on what type of 'work' visa/status.
more often than not, documents required almost similar to COE-visa application.

So check the type of 'work' visa/status and then go from there.

It is possible with good reasons and a proper context. But I am also wondering how your friend managed to enter Japan on a temporary visa recently. I thought it to be impossible.

The procedure you will have to go through is called "change of status of residence". You will need various documents to support your case, including an explanation why your friend did not get a work visa the proper way outside of Japan. An immigration lawyer can simplify the process.
