I got my visa approved to Japan.
I know I need a round trip. I'm leaving Los Angeles to Japan.
Example: Am I allowed to buy 2 flights right now?
Example: I buy a one way to Japan from one airline. and then I buy a Japan back home to Los Angeles one way from another airline.
Is this allowed or no?

Yes this is allowed. Just be sure that you have the flight information and ticket ready during checkin

It doesnft matter as long as you have ticket to leave the country. In most cases it makes no sense as international one way tickets (especially to japan) are way more expensive than a return ticket

Next year, I am thinking about traveling to Japan -via- cruise ship (Norwegian Cruise Line from Seattle), and flying home using airline miles.
Am I correct in assuming that I will need my return flight set up prior to stepping off the ship?
