I plan to travel from Takanosu to Towadako and avoid the long way to Aomori. Am I right that there is no public transport from Takanosu to Towadako?

The only public transport from southwest of the lake to the lake is the Hachiro Taro bus, but it operates only on selected dates and requires reservations at least one day in advance:

Otherwise, it is easiest to travel via Aomori.
