Shiretoko sightseeing boat and guided tours

Planning a trip to Shiretoko in July 2022.
Ifm interested in the small boat cruises mentioned in this website that can go up close to see the bears in the peninsula. However, I canft seem to find where to book small boat cruises? Does anyone have any experience?
Secondly, do I need to book beforehand for the guided tours in Shiretoko Peninsula? Or can I just go show/sign up when I arrive?

We were there a few years ago, and a Japanese friend arranged the reservation for the sightseeing boat. When we arrived at Utoro, we were surprised when told the cruise was cancelled due to bad weather. Please check the weather forecast, or contact the cruise company before you go.
