We have a domestic flight from Fukuoka to Amami Oshima, departing 07.10.The metro starts at 05.30. Does anyone know what the latest check in time is for domestic flights?

It depends on the airline. Generally 20 minutes. I personally usually try to be at the airport 40-60 minutes before departure just in case something unexpected happens.

That's what I see as well. Remember you will have to go through security and get to the boarding gate, plus check in any bags if you need to. Twenty minutes prior is really tempting fate - be sure not to do it that late.

I had a flight at a similar time & took the first metro. I then had time for some breakfast at the airport. Much better than rushing.
