Teaching visa question!

I have a UK passport, but I was a naturalised citizen so I don't actually have 12 years of education in an English-only school. My high school taught in mixed languages. I have a question about the visa requirement to teach English in Japan. I am aware that there is a need for '12 years of education in English'. Does that apply to people with passports from English-speaking countries? I have a UK passport, but I was a naturalised citizen so I don't actually have 12 years of education in English-only school. My high school taught in mixed languages. Does anyone know if I qualify? THANK YOU!

I believe aside from the primary education being in English for 12 years, you also need to have a bachelor's degree or at least 10 years experience in your field of which you're trying to get a visa.
I'd check online for the requirements just in case too.
