Snow Miku day 1 and 2 different or same?

I am planning to visit Hokkaido during the Snow Festival, and planning to be staying in Otaru during the Snow Miku event. It will be held over 2 days in Otaru.
Does anyone know if each day will be different, with different exhibits and booths, in which case I should go on both days? Or will it be the same, so just going on one day?
Also is reservation required for the event?
