There ate the official Karaoke�hkan�fs�h (buildings). But then there is karaoke in your neighborhood bar, in the dinner room of onsen, in a hotel bar�c

It�fs just pretty common specially in places where groups of Japanese spend a weekend.

And in cities for the karaoke kan�fs where you simply rent the room for a few hours.

And, then there are all the rooms and karaoke machines located in hotels/onsens, other clubs, and places where you can do it.

One time we went to a yakitori restaurant in Shinbashi and we asked if they had non-smoking section (this was before 2020). They took us to a small private room, big enough for about 8 people, and there was a karaoke machine there.
