Tateyama Kurobe Alpine Ticket in November

Hello there!

We would like to traverse the Tateyama Kurobe Alpine Route during our November journey to Japan. If it will be available, then we will go for Tateyama Kurobe Alpine Ticket allowing for one-way journey. But I was warned that in November the route might not be possible to cross due to snowfall between Bijodaira and Murodo. We will travel from Omachi side, so we still will be able to reach Murodo and then, in case the route is closed, turn back to Omachi. But what about the Tateyama Kurobe Alpine Ticket, will it be valid on the return trip in case the route from Murodo to Toyama will be closed? Or what would you suggest to do to make it most cost efficient possible?

Sorry for not answering as I didn't realize the question was asked in another topic.
I confirmed with JR Tokai, but since it is a case-by-case basis, I can't answer unless the situation occurs.
The respondent said he had never heard of such a case.

Thanks for the information! It seems that a one-way discount ticket isn't available anymore (Tateyama Kurobe Option Ticket), so we will have to pay full 13,630 yen per adult person. What will be the best way the tickets? Is it possible to get one ticket from Nagano to Toyama via Alpine Route? If we but the tickets online in advance is there any discount for it?
