Panoramic view of Nagoya City 2022/10/16 01:11
Hi.
Is there a tower or observation deck (preferably free entry) in Nagoya city ?
Thank you.

I find the observation deck of the Midland Square the best, but it is not free and there are windows (at a distance from the viewers) that make photography difficult:

The top-floor bar lounge and restaurant of the Marriot hotel also have nice views.

At Nagoya Station, you can go up free to the lobby floor of Marriot Hotel, and the elevator hall at the west side gives you a great view of the north, west and south. You can see a bit of the JR railways as well, spreading straight out.

It's up JR Central Towers to the 15th floor, and it's called Sky Street which connects the Office Tower and the Hotel Tower. Open 7am to midnight. Amazingly, it's never crowded, even in pre-pandemic holidays. The lower floors provide shops of all kinds.
