Oirase Stream around 12th November 2022/10/20 11:35
Hi, I am thinking of visiting Oirase Stream around 12th November. Two questions:
(1) Is it too late to see autumn colors ?
(2) Read that there will be no bus service from early Nov to mid Apr?

Would appreciate it if someone can help on this. Thank you

(2) There is no direct bus from Aomori or Hachinohe, but there is a bus if you transfer to Towada City (Towada Chuo,十和田中央).

If you have time, please stop by the Towada City Museum of Contemporary Art.
Recommended.
If it's only outdoors, you can see it for free.

@ Adeline
I would highly recommend one night stay at Oirase Keiryu Hotel. Free shuttle bus service  is available from JR Hachinohe station.

I went few years back on 2nd November, the leaves have started to fallen and the color is turning to brownish. The stream itself is still a pleasant walk and I believe still be pleasant though it's past autumn.
