Mt Takao in Kyoto and Tokyo 2022/11/11 16:00
Are there two Mt Takao in Japan, one in Kyoto and one in Tokyo? I tried using Google Map to check distances but it always shows Mt Takao Tokyo.
I am interested in Mt Takao Kyoto. Is it better to take bus or train from Kyoto Station? How far is the walk from Takao to Kiyotaki River and is it an easy walk? If I exclude Kiyotaki River, is half a day good just for Mt Takao? Thank you.

The link above is a good option.

I've also visited Takao in winter by public transport - but thought there were better options that are similar to this.

Personally - I thought more of Ohara but this may of have just been the season

One is Takao, the other is Mt Takao.

Many thanks. I will use Jingoji as a guide to check distances. The links are very helpful.
