Do not complete Visit Japan Web? 2022/12/10 14:42
Hi all,

We plan to visit Japan for about 2-3 weeks in Jan/Feb 2023.
Not all travellers are tech savvy and not all of us live together. English not being first language for some doesn't help either.
Would it be possible for some/all of us to not complete the Visit Japan Web, and instead line up the "conventional" way and do everything at the airport with a real human officer?
We are all tripple vaxxed with Pfizer, and have the vaccination certificates.

It is just that for some in the group, completing the Visit Japan Web will be impossible unless someone does it for them.

Thanks

No problem! Visit Japan is an OPTIONAL tool to help you speed up the entry procedure. But you can also enter without it.

Thanks Uji, yes it is great that it is optional because oftentimes my experience with such things, not looking at any country in specific, but for moving things to "self-service" or "online-only" is that they try and shove it down your throat, and many people still live their lives like in the 1980s and have no idea how to write an email, much less fill in a form with multiple steps and attachments involved.
