Tateyama Kurobe Alpine Route April 2023

We'll be in Nagano on 15th April when the Tateyama Kurobe Alpine Route route opens.
Is it feasible/enjoyable to do this in one day from Nagano and back to Nagano?
How would we book the whole adventure ahead. I assume the first day of the season might be very busy?
Is there a complete tour we could book for the family?

Note that From April 2023 JR group collect express Fee in 4 categories when you board shinkansen train or Limited express train
