Sumo in Summer 2023

hello,

i plan to watch a sumo match during my japan trip from july 23rd to august 5th.
where can i attend to this and where to buy the tickets?
do i need to book tickets in advance or can i just walk in the day of the match and buy a ticket?

unfortunately, the last day of the July-Tournament are on the 23rd July.
The next tournament starts in September.

On this page, you could find the complete tournament schedule for 2023 and 2024 and Informations about buying a Ticket (if it�Ls possible to get one, because tickets often are fast sold out):
