Bus for 2023 Hirosaki Castle Snow Festival

I would like to go for an evening visit at Hirosaki Castle Snow Lantern Festival, but since I travel by Japan Rail Pass. Any advice for the public bus timetable between Hirosaki train station and the castle on Feb 11.....please.... Many thanks!

Hirosaki city Located in Aomori prefecture
JR East gono Line free pass 2 day=3880 yen
Aomori hirosaki city free pass = 1380 yen, 2 day=1980 yen
Konan bus 1 day pass=500 yen in hirosakicity
Tsugaru railway 1 day pass=1500 yen

Until 17:00, you can ride the Dotemachi junkan bus（土手町循環バス,Dotemachi circulation bus）for 100 yen.
Runs every 10 minutes.
There are several bus stops close to Hirosaki Park, but Shiyakusho-mae（市役所前） might be a good place to get off.

After 17:00, it is necessary to take another route bus.
On the Ishiwata Sen（石渡線, Ishiwata Line） (73), Bunka Sentaa Mae (文化センター前,in front of the Cultural Center) seems to be close to Hirosaki Park.(Platform 7 in front of Hirosaki Station)

Hirosaki Goshogawara Sen (弘前〜五所川原線,Hirosaki Goshogawara Line)(10) ) (Platform 5 in front of Hirosaki Station)and Iwaga Sen (岩賀線,Iwaga Line)(Platform 7 in front of Hirosaki Station)(last bus at 17:00 on weekdays)also stop Bunka Sentaa Mae.
Since these buses start from the Hirosaki bus terminal(弘前バスターミナル）, they arrive at Hirosaki Eki（弘前駅,Hirosaki station) in a few minutes.
It's only open until 18:00, but if you check with the tourist information center at Hirosaki Station, you'll get more accurate information.

Since February 11th is a public holiday, the last bus at Iwaga Sen is at 17:00.

I took a public bus from Hirosaki station to the castle and back a few years ago using Japan Rail Pass, and it was accepted. Just could not remember which bus.

I've never used a Japan Rail Pass (because I'm Japanese and live in Japan), but I think this pass usually only allows you to ride the buses operated by JR.

JR Bus Tohoku does not include the Hirosaki route.

Therefore, the Konan Bus（弘南バス）, which I posted a timetable link to earlier, will not be able to ride with the Japan Rail Pass.
