Bus ticket from Shirakawago to Takayama

HI

I have reserved bus tickets to travel from Takayama to Shirakawago in early March (weekend) for a day trip, and am wondering if the local buses from Shirawakago to Ainokura and/or Suganuma are running? It does seem like the buses have been discontinued for some reason?

Also checking if we would be able to just get bus tickets on the spot without reservation at Shirakawago to return to Takayama as we are not sure how much time we would spend there.

Any useful advice on the above would be very much appreciated. Thank you!

Covid and lack or users is the reason.

Yes, the local buses are running!
But some are canceled due to corona.

The services marked Z are currently cancelled.
In addition, the last bus of the day in the direction of Shirakawago and the first bus in the direction of Takaoka are currently cancelled.
But all the other buses are running.
