Visiting Costco in Hisayama

I have a Costco membership card in the US - is it true that I can use it to shop at the Costco in Japan? We will be in Fukuoka in June so was planning to visit the one in Hisayama.
Are there any rules/restrictions that I should be aware of? For example, in the US they only accept Visa Credit Cards or cash. Same in Japan? What do I need to bring besides the membership card? Is it pretty crowded in general (like the one in the US?)
Also just wondering, how many hours of Dazaifu Tenmangu should we plan? Would half a day be enough?

Yes, you can shop using American Costco membership card. I heard they only accept Mastercard, I used cash.
