Bus to Shirakawago in winter

We are thinking to go Shirakawago for a day trip at the end of year from Kanazawa.

Just wondering if the bus will operate as normal during that time and also in the event of heavy snow?

Asking this question in case the snow will cause unforeseen delays and we can�ft return to Kanazawa on the same day which will impact our trip due to train/hotel bookings the next day

In any region that snows. That is a possibility.

But generally if the weather was gonna be that back. There would be warnings about travel anyways.
