Okay!
I now have my final itinerary!
Was wondering if someone can give me some food recommendations in each area? Cheap eats, mid-budget foods, unique cafes, traditional and authentic Japanese foods
- Tokyo
- Matsumoto
- Kyoto

Search using a foodie site, like https://tabelog.com/en/ Or do a google map search. Open the map of the city you are staying in and search like "sushi". tabelog is a Japanese site, and their rating is more strict, compared to sites like yelp or google map.

In Matsumoto we loved Itoya! (on Nakamachi street).
Kyoto - so many good small places, be brave and step in:) If they have English menu, then can manage.
