Reservations for Green Car seats

Can anyone tell me if you can book green car reservations on line once you have a Japan Rail Pass.?
If not and you have to book at an office , can you reserve seats for your whole trip on several trains at the same time?

It is possible only if you buy the pass through the official Japan Rail Pass website. Otherwise, you need to make reservations at ticket offices or ticket machines in Japan.
In theory, you can make as many reservations as you want in one session, but in practice when a ticket office is very crowded, you may be asked to do less urgent reservations at a different time out of consideration to other customers.
