5 Days Kansai Wide Pass to Hiroshima

Intend to visit Osaka, Kyoto, Kobe, Himeji and Okayama and Hiroshima in May with Sanyo Shinkansen. Does Pass allow Shinkansen from Osaka to Kobe, Osaka to Himeji, Osaka to Okayama , Osaka to Hiroshima on different days , Himeji to Okayama on same day?

Thanks Likebike for your reply and link. Are the rides on Sanyo Shinkasen from Shin Osaka directly to Hiroshima only.? Can I use on rides from Shin Osaka to Himeji and Shin Osaka to Okayama on the other days?

That Kansai wide pass doesn't cover Hiroshima.

Kansai-Hiroshima pass does cover all that you need

Within the validity area there f a train pass you can get on/off the train. So if you take one that stops inHimeiji/Okayama yes, you can get off.
But as said the pass you were targeting isn�ft covering the area where you want to go.

It looks like the western Japan pass does cover Hiroshima, no?

A regular 7-day pass won�ft benefit me, but it looks like the regional pass might. I plan to travel Kyoto-Hiroshima & Miyajima, ending in Osaka, and then traveling to Itami airport.

Just a note that neither JR Sanyo Sanin Area Pass nor JR West All Area Pass cover Shinkansen between Shin-Osaka and Kyoto.

Thanks H. First 3 days will visit Himeji, Hiroshima and Okayama by Shinkasen. Balance 2 days is Pass more useful for sightseeing in Kyoto rather than in Kobe? Anyone been to Byakugo-Ji temple for Wisteria Festival and is it worth the time and travel ?

I�fm now thinking about traveling from Kanazawa directly to Hiroshima and I�fm confused as to whether the JR West All area will cover us.

That little section between Kyoto and Shin-Osaka is not covered, is it? If we are on a train that is partially covered by the pass, can we then pay the difference or is the entire trip invalid?

These regional passes are confusing!

When the shinkansen between Kyoto and Shin-Osaka is not covered by your pass, it only means you'd take a limited express or a rapid train to Shin-Osaka, and change to a shinkansen from Shin-Osaka to Hiroshima.
