I noticed that the Hozugawa River Cruise is marked temporarily close in Google maps. Is this true? I am going to Arashiyama on 21st June

Yes, due to an accident they are closed until July at the earliest.

I have gone on the cruise before and had good memories of it. This is my second trip back Japan and wanted to go on the cruise again. I guess maybe next time then.

It is a 5-10 minute walk to the Randen Station, a 15 minute walk to the Hankyu Station or a 20 minute walk to the JR station.
