Hello, Hozugawa Kudari is closed until the end of June. The reason is that a capsizing accident occurred on March 28th, and we are closed for the investigation, investigation of the cause, and drastic review.

oh no, that is unfortunate; i hope no one was seriously hurt.
I have gone on the cruise before and had good memories of it. This is my second trip back Japan and wanted to go on the cruise again. I guess maybe next time then.
I also realized the Sagano train ride is not operating on Wednesday. Such bad planning on my part.

It reopened last July.
Currently it is closed for two weeks until February 14 for regular safety inspections.

It is a 5-10 minute walk to the Randen Station, a 15 minute walk to the Hankyu Station or a 20 minute walk to the JR station.
