Lake Toya in winter

Hi, May I know is it worth to visit Lake Toya in winter? I will be visiting Noboribetsu on late Dec and was wonder is it worthwhile to do a day visit to Lake Toya? I will be taking public transport. Thanks a lot

What do you want to do there? Or what is the purpose of visiting?

The reason I ask - is because there is not a huge amount to do there and it depends on what your hoping to get out of it.

Hi, as this will be my first visit to Hokkaido and from Japan-guide, it seem Lake Toya is mainly sight seeing and Mount Usu. Not sure in winter, will the view or is there any other attractions that will make the trip worthwhile given the limitation in winter transportation. Thanks
