Bus info of Katsuo-Ji Temple 2023/6/9 03:49
I searched the forum, in 2016 someone posted a question for the bus information to Katsuo-Ji Temple. Not sure if it's still valid. Post mentioned, Hankyu bus number 29 from Senri Chuo station at Platform 4 to Katsuo-ji temple. Is this information correct and still valid in 2023? Where can I view the bus schedule? Can I use JR pass for the Hankyu bus? By the way, it is possible to complete the trip within 4 hours including travelling time? How long do we need to see the temple?

That access method is correct.
The bus departs from platform 4-A.
About 33 minutes.
The first train departs from Platform 5 at Kitasenri Station on the Hankyu Railway Senri Line.
On weekdays, there are 3 a day.
If you scroll down, you can also see the bus timetable here.
When there are many people, such as during the fall foliage season, there is a possibility that the time will be delayed due to traffic jams.
Congestion information
Hankyu is a separate company from JR, so the Japan Rail Pass cannot be used.
I've never been there, so I don't know about the visiting hours.
In this article, the tour time for Katsuo-ji Temple is 1 hour, but in other articles it is 40 minutes or 1 hour 40 minutes.
The article says 10 minutes by taxi from Hankyu Minoh Station, but the official website says it takes about 20 minutes.
It takes about 20 minutes by taxi from Senri Chuo Station.
