Hello, Ifm trying to figure out what JR PASS should I use. Adding my trip down here:
Tokyo 15-22/7
Kyoto 22-28/7
Nara 28-31/7
Osaka 31/7-5/8
Hiroshima 5-7/8
Osaka 7-8/8
Kanawaza 8-10/8
Tokyo 10-13/8

Beside JR nation wide pass,u can buy japan bus pass 7 day=15300 yen,non consecutive days valid tokyo, osaka, kyoto ,kanazawa,hiro shima etc prefectures

Timewise, you'd need a 21-day pass - but you don't travel enough to break even on one. So you could add more travel, like a day trip to Sendai, for example, or just get regular fare tickets, with some regional rail passes, like the Kansai-Hiroshima Pass.
BTW you are pretty much only seeing big cities. How about seeing the countryside for a whole different side to Japan?
