Kyoto Yoimiya Festival

I am in a dilemma. I wanted to see the Yoimiya Festival at Inari shrine but I will need to spend a total of around 5hours travelling to kyoto and back to tokyo just for that 2hours to see the Yoimiya Festival. I will not be able to stay a night at kyoto as that is the last day of my JR pass. Likely, I wouldn't be travelling to japan in summer again. So, I may not get the chance to see the festival. I wonder if it's really worth going to go see the festival. Please share your thoughts and experience. Thank you.

Your JR pass validity is most important,than this Festival.because japan has thousands of festival every year .but if you miss the shinka nsen valid with your JR pass, then it will be headache to go kyoto to tokyo.why you dont come previous day in kyoto for this festival
