This website says the buses running between Takayama and Shrakawa-go are NOT covered by JR Train Pass. Are the buses covered by Takayama-Hokuriku Area Tourist Pass then?

The buses are not covered by the nationwide Japan Rail Pass, but they are covered by the Takayama-Hokuriku Area Tourist Pass.
