Hi All, I want to buy prayer beads for my grandson who is a buddhist.
I'm going to Kamakura. Do they sell them there? I'm looking for the bracelet type of beads.
Thank you.

Prayer beads (juzu) are also available at any department store as well as a lot of "home center" malls and convenience stores. If you go to a department store, you can explain the occasion and the clerk would recommend you something appropriate, often in your language.

After researching it on the Internet, I discovered that it is also sold at 100-yen shops and Don Quijote. (At some Lawson and FamilyMart stores) 100-yen shop products are fragile, so they may not be suitable for presents. Hasedera temple sells stylish power stones , so it might be a good idea to buy them here. (They also sell prayer beads) It's an internet mail order, but it's probably sold at the temple too. https://jyuyo.com/?page=2It seems that Kenchoji also sells prayer beads. This prayer bead is more reasonable than the Hasedera one. https://xn----z27a15dd5ox8a32ec0cs8yix9i.jinja-tera-gosyuin-meguri.com...

Thank you both for your replies.
If I go to a department store, where would the prayer beads be?
