Hi, I am wondering if there's any sightseeing bus or tour to Lake Kussharo in Late December? I am planning to start my trip from Abashiri, but I am open to any suggestions if a start from Abashiri is not possible. Due to my nationality, I am not able to rent a car. So, any information regarding private hire car or other mode of transportation is welcomed! Thank you

Some taxi drivers offer sightseeing services so you may want to find a taxi driver who will then make some money. Snow conditions are a concern

Could you reschedule your trip to February? Mid February is the drift ice season so there are some sightseeing buses running in this area. I am afraid late December is the off-season so you will encounter difficulties in finding buses, even normal local ones. Of course there are taxi companies even in December.
