Welcome Suica Card at Chitose?

Hi… want to get information whether I can get welcome suica card from New Chitose Airport… as this will be my port of entry before traveling down to Tokyo and Osaka? Is there an alternative to consider should it is not available in Sapporo?

For my daughter (12 years old), is there a discounted fare for such card?

No, Welcome Suica is not available in Hokkaido. Welcome Suica is usually sold only at major statior stations in the service area of JR East. Currently the locations are further reduced due the shortage of cards.

If you need an IC card in Sapporo, you can purchase a Kitaca, which is the same as Suica (but slightly different from Welcome Suica).

Welcome Suica and most IC cards also come in child versions.
