Yes, outside of the climbing season and when the road is not closed due to snow, you can drive up to the 5th Station with a private car. Looking at the weather forecast, it looks unlikely that the road will be closed on the 27th, but if you are worried you can check the day's situation here: http://subaruline.jp/e/
