JR Hida (Green Car) Seat Availability

Hi,

I have a JR Rail Pass (Green Car) which I bought from third-party, so cannot reserve seats online.

I will reserve all my seats when I get to Japan.

Two weeks after I arrive in Japan, I will take the JR Hida train. I was just wondering how quickly Green Car seats on that train get booked up?

Am I likely to still be able to get a Green Car seat reservation booking two weeks before?

Just looking for some reassurance!

I checked the available seats on Hida via Cyberstation website.

Now all 12 Hida trains from Nagoya to Takayama have vacant green seats available. If your travel date is not specifically crowded you will get the seats quite easily.
