Kansai-Hiroshima Pass from Hiroshima to Tokyo

I am planning on traveling from Hiroshima to Tokyo on the 17th of November. If i get the Kansai-Hiroshima Area Pass, i can use the Nozomi from Hiroshima to Osaka for free (is that correct?), can i somehow upgrade my ticket from osaka to Tokyo so i can just stay seated. And if i can, how much is it? Because i when i would buy Hiroshima to osaka and osaka to Tokyo separately, it would cost about 24000 yen. If i just buy from hiroshima to Tokyo directly, it would be 18000.
If they would charge me a normal ticket from Osaka to Tokyo (14000yen) it is questionable if the area pass is worth it

No, you cannot upgrade tickets. You would have to purchase a separate ticket from Shin-Osaka to Tokyo. And you could try to reserve the same seat you have between Hiroshima and Tokyo. But the cost will be the regular fare from Shin-Osaka to Tokyo (14,520 - 15,120 yen depending on the day of travel).
