New years eve transport Nagasaki

Hi Everyone, Hoping someone can shed a little light on my question regarding transport late new years eve, We are considering visiting Nagasaki as we heard there will be a fireworks display at the adventure park aka "Huis Ten Bosch Machi, Sasebo, Nagasaki 859-3243, Japan" aka dutch village theme park.
Why here for new years? Its the only place i can find that has a fireworks display that isnt cancelled ie tokyo disney land etc.
Hotels nearby are prohibitively expensive so we were trying to work out if trains were running and or busses after midnight? If not, I was considering other options such as renting a car, that way we can drive to and from wherever is cheapest and on new years day we can go for a drive.
Also, How can i tell what will and wont be open on new years day ie 1 jan? Id really like to visit a few places while we are here such as the peace museum etc. Please feel free to provide whatever insight you can. Cheers Steve

Hi Steve001AUS As for the opening hours of the year-end and New Year holidays, in the case of 2022, the article was published on December 22. If you copy and paste it into the translation software, you can see the details. https://www.at-nagasaki.jp/downloads/media/5738So we'll probably see 2023 around that time. Probably, it will be shown in this "notice"(お知らせ). https://www.at-nagasaki.jp/The Atomic Bomb Museum is closed at the end of the year, but it seems to be open from January 1st. https://nabmuseum.jp/genbaku/At the end of 2021, there was a special train from Huis Ten Bosch to Nagasaki and Sasebo area on JR Kyushu. The train bound for Hakata is a limited express, so you need to make a reservation, but the one bound for Nagasaki or Sasebo is a regular train, so you don't need to make a reservation. But it may be quite crowded. https://www.jrkyushu.co.jp/news/__icsFiles/afieldfile/2021/12/09/21120...It was announced on December 9th in 2021, so please check it on the website around that time. https://www.jrkyushu.co.jp/You may also find information in the NEWS section of Huis Ten Bosch. https://www.huistenbosch.co.jp/Cheers.
