Hello, planning a trip next august to do Nakahechi route.
So my idea is to arrive late the day before the route to Kii Tanabe.
NEXT DAY, pick earliest bus to Takijiri Oji and that day hike to Yunomine Onsen and rest. I know they are 30 km, I did even 40 km in Camino of Santiago so I'm confident is doable before sunset unless it's everything steep, what do you think?
SECOND DAY wake up early and visit HONGU and from there pick a bus to Hayatama Shrine, and then arrive Daimonzaka stairs and from there visit the main shrine and the falls in 2 hours and come back to Osaka to arrive in the afternoon.
Do you think is doable? I'm fast pace traveler and used to do running and trail running.
