JR Pass for Osaka-Nagoya-Takayama

Dear experienced travellers,

I would like to seek some advice on my following itinerary.

My family will be in Osaka this coming March.
We would like to explore Nagoya/Takayama/Shirakawago/Gero for a few days. Here's my tentative itinerary:
Day 1. Osaka -> Nagoya (to visit Ghibli Park)
Day 2. Nagoya -> Takayama
Day 3. Takayama, Bus to Shirakawago, back to Takayama on the same day
Day 4. Takayama ->Gero
Day 5. Gero ->Nagoya / Osaka

It seems that there is not a JR regional pass that could be used for the above itinerary? The JR Pass Takayama Hokuriku Area Tourist Pass cannot be used for shinkansen from Osaka -> Nagoya. Is there any other pass that is available?
