As per now i have seen that suica /pasmo card are discontinued . are their other alternatives to ride japan transportation easily ?

No, Suica and Pasmo are not discontinued! But new physical cards are currently not being issued. Your options are: - get a Welcome Suica (at Haneda Airport) or Pasmo Passport (at various sales locations in Greater Tokyo) - get an IC card in another part of Japan, e.g. an Icoca card in Osaka - add a digital Suica, Pasmo or Icoca card to Apple Wallet.

I don't think so. But it is pretty obvious: it is extremely unsustainable product in an age of IC chips shortage: an IC card that cannot be used for more than 28 days by definition!
