Able to upgrade Nikko Free Area Pass

I bought a digital Nikko Free area pass to include Chuzenji area but I didn't realize that the hotel I'm staying at (which is located on Lake Chuzenji) is actually on the Yumoto Onsen route. Can I exchange/upgrade to the higher priced Yumoto Onsen Nikko Pass?

The two most popular passes are called "World Heritage Area Pass" and "All Area Pass". Or are you referring to other passes?
I don't think it is possible to upgrade, but I would try to cancel the purchase of the first and then buy the other.
