Cycling to Aso Volcano

May I do cycling to Aso Volcano, any fee if I do?

Yes, you can cycle on the roads on Mount Aso. The toll road that leads to the crater can be used for free by cyclists.

You sure can, for free. But from where, and more importantly, when? Mt Aso is at an elevation of about 1600 meters or 5250 feet - that is a lot of uphill riding. And if going in the summer, it will still be quite hot and humid.

Yes, you can. And it�fs very enjoyable. Just did it a few days ago. The way to the crater was open and free for cyclists.
