Advise for Road Trip Sendai to Ginzan Onsen

In Feb 2025, I plan to travel from Sendai to Ginzan Onsen and back to Sendai.
Any recommedation for sightseeing.
One place is quite interesting for me, Akiu Great Falls.

Yamadera. But in February I would expect snow and ice so not the best time to climb up to Yamadera.
