Cheap stays near Kawaramachi, Kyoto

I'm planning to go to Kyoto soon, and I'm looking for affordable places to stay around Kawaramachi. It doesn't have to be a hotel, so if you have any recommendations, please let me know!

It's not Kawaramachi, but the last time I stayed in Kyoto (about ten years ago) was at the Gojo Guest House Annex.
I stayed in a private room. The shower, toilet, and kitchen were shared.

It's close to Kiyomizu-dera Temple, and you can walk to Shijo.
I went to a public bath in the neighborhood.
There are other guest houses.
In my case, Karasuma Oike and Shijo-Karasuma (Kyoto Shiyakusho-mae) are also within walking distance to Kawaramachi.

The last time I went, the hostel was full, so I stayed at an internet café called Popeye. There�fs no bath, but it had showers and a washing machine, which was really convenient!

If you are a man, there is a way to stay at a 24-hour sauna (Luma Plaza).
I have stayed at a women-only sauna in Tokyo.

A single room in APA Hotel Kyoto Gojo Omiya is the one I stayed at last year. It's not large, but perfect for one person and quite cheap - about $56 at the moment https://bedsizefinder.com/search/396. It's about 1 mile far from Kawaramachi. There's also standard room in Hotel Crush On, only 0,25 mile from Kawaramachi, but might seem pricy - $153 atm.
