Shibuya SKY and Tokyo City View Timing

I will be in Tokyo in November and was aiming to get Shibuya SKY tickets for 3:30pm, in order to be there around sunset and then see the city start to light up at night. However, despite being on the ticket sites at exactly 12am Tokyo time, all of the 3-4:30pm tickets sold out immediately, so I ended up with an entrance time of 2:40pm.
I'm not sure I want to hang out at Shibuya SKY for several hours in order to be there for golden hour/sunset. So the question is do I keep the ticket I currently have and just have a daytime experience or should I switch it to something like a 7pm ticket to see the city lit up at night? For those who have been there, what would you do?
I was able to obtain a Tokyo Sky View ticket with a 4pm entrance on a different night, so I will have the sunset experience and see the city start to light up from that observation tower.

It really is up to your other plans. If you don't spend the afternoon and evening at Shibuya Sky, where else would you go? I love going just before sunset, if the weather cooperates. Watch the city turn from day to night. It's like a two-fer. But as I said, it all depends on what else you'd do. https://youtu.be/Y_Cdyqp52qs
