I plan to go japan on january and currently thinking of combining kamakura (10-230) and enoshima till night for the light decoration.
I was planning to go to both great buddha and Hachimangu but i think it will be a stretch to go as one is near kamakura station and the other hase station.
Which would u recommend? Great buddha or hachimangu?

Hachimangu, Great Buddha and Enoshima should be doable in one day by most people except the most relaxed travelers. Now I admit I personally would find enough things to do on Enoshima for a nice day, but then I live at 1,5 h so no need to hurry. But if I’d go to Kamakura I would be able to see Hachimangu and Buddha in half a day easily. And I am a notoriously slow traveler.
If you want to choose I’d go to the Great Buddha. I think it is more unique than a Hachimangu shrine. Of which there are many all through Japan, although the one in Kamakura is especially large. However from a travel direction it makes more sense to start at the Hachimangu and then maybe take a taxi from there to the Buddha and then train from there to Enoshima.

I would absolutely recommend doing both. From Kamakura Station to Hase Station is only a 5-minute train ride, or about a 15-minutes taxi. If you're coming all the way to Japan from overseas I'm assuming it'll be a while before your next trip to Japan, so see both while you're here. It's also worth noting while Hachimangu and the Great Buddha are both beautiful, neither is a very large facility, so it doesn't take all that much time to see them (30 minutes or so is probably fine), so it's really pretty easy to fit both into a visit.

While i also believe that it can be done in one day, i have several factors that making me doubt if we can do it all: parents are around 60-70 years old so walking will take a while, cold as it is in january, and enoshima shrine i believe closed at 1630?
Also i planned to go to buddhhist first then hachimangu because there is a chance?? That there will be food stalls there and that will be our lunch. But maybe i can ask advice for those already went there.

There are sometimes a few food stalls at Hachimangu, but generally only small snacks (candied apples, shaved ice, etc.) so not much you can make a meal out of. However, the roads that connect Hachimangu to Kamakura Station have many places to eat, especially the street called Komachidori, which has both sit-down restaurants and food stalls.

The Kotokuin Great Buddha only takes 30 minutes tops, and likely less - there really is nothing else there except the statue (be sure to go inside it also). https://youtu.be/IjHWifD-cNEYou should easily be able to fit it in with the rest of your plans.

Thanks everyone for all your answer. Ill try to add all in one day and adjust on it when the time comes.
Morning - hase station for buddha and hasedera then go to kamakura station for hachimangu and lunch there.
Then around 230 to enoshima.
You think that good and plausible?
