Fuji Subaru Line 5th Station on January?

Hi, is it possible to drive to Fuji Subaru Line 5th Station during the end of January (29 January)? Will the road & shops be closed? Is there any sites to see if its open?

It depends on the state of the road. If there is too much snow, it will be closed.

If the road is open, I would expect some shops to open, but I am not sure. There is not much there besides some shops.
