How would this name be read/pronounced?

I'm trying to write a story where the protagonist is an immigrant from China to Japan and has the given name of 适娴. I've tried to figure it out myself through research, but I have very limited knowledge on the subject as English is my only language. How would the name 适娴 be pronounced? Would one use on'yomi or kun'yomi? I've also seen things like Nanori readings of the characters and would like some help from people who actually speak the language.

Many use the original Chinese pronounciation (written in katakana so will sound a bit different), other people use a Japansesed version. Maybe by using only one of their kanjis and a common Japanese pronounciation of it even if it has nothing to do with the Chinese pronounciation. And others will use an English name they choose for themselves instead.
So your character has a lot of options and I guess can express his personality through his choice.
