No hotels in Okunikko in November?

Hi

I am looking for a hotel in okunikko/yumoto in November and most of the hotels don�ft have availability. Are those sold out already or it is that they have not released the rooms that yet and it is too early to book?

I believe this is no reason to worry, as most Japanese hotels open their reservations only 6 months prior. If you have a particular hotel in mind, I would contact them directly and inquire about availability.

Most hotels offer room 3 or 6 months out.

I might be wrong, but if you are hoping to see fall colours then mid November will be too late

Is it? I checked it for the last year and it was more in November than October. It�fs true that in nikko it will be a bit late, but for the rest of my trip, Tokyo-Kyoto-Osaka-mijayima looks better than October isn�ft it?

sorry, forgot to clarify it, that would be for the first week of november, around 4-5th

Try an aggregation site. I found two places available to book 4th/5th Nov via Agoda.
The 3/6 month thing might apply to some places, but that doesn't hold in reality.
