Shibazakura Festival - reservation needed?

I am planning to attend the Shibazakura festival around April 17 and looking at tickets for the round trip bus and festival pass from Kawaguchiko. The website is all in Japanese. Do I need to reserve a spot ahead of time, or can I buy the pass on the day I wish to go ?
