Alpine route tickets

The alpine route website ( https://www.alpen-route.com/en/modelcourse/walking/course03.html) shows that advance web tickets are sold out for the alpine route running from Tateyama to Ogizawa on our date in May. If we purchase the JR Alpine-Takayama-Matsumoto Area Pass through Klook - will that still allow us to do the Alpine route on that day? It sounds like it should allow us to do that, but that our spot would not be guaranteed. Is that correct? Is there a way to have an advanced reservation?
