Gifts for Groups (literary) 2007/7/29 06:47
My husband and I have been invited to a meeting of a literary club. We will bring a gift for the organizer, but also something 'for the group'. Would traditional British (alcoholic) drink or food, to be shared by the group later be a good idea? Or a small gift for each member of the group? Or should it be something which the leader of the group would receive on behalf of everyone (such as a picture, or a book).

How about an assortment of biscuits or candies to share during the meeting?

I second to Miki-chan. Sweets which are individually wrapped are always welcomed.
